what a day, hail and driving rain at my place, glad we stayed home this year. One consolation, I managed to back the winner. only win of the day though.

Well we're all fools, then cos none of us won. The scene at Chez Bealman's as the race was underway:

even wearing your jockey's cap in support.
Also lost my money, thought backing Saint George was a good idea.
