Ok,

sorry about the inflammatory title, but I'm trying to see if I can link to my mobile me photos here and I have the perfect photo.  Didn't know where to put it as there are British, Japanese and German trains in this shot of my old never finished (and now defunct :( layout)

so here's the picture (hope this works!)

Great Models

I like your TEE and your collection of Euro Buildings, are these Faller kits?

I bet you cant wait to get back to the UK and set up a new layout.

All the best Graham and keep us all posted :camera:

How does the British stuff run on the Kato track Graham?

grumbeast

Owl, thanks for the comments...

yes the buildings are Faller, I got them at a local show in a box from a guy for CDN$50!! it was quite a steal.  I have to try and repair the TEE :( :( , it had a falling down accident when I was trying to pack everything up for the move, Its one of my favourite models too.

Lawrence,

I had no problems at all running my British stock on the Kato track (that was a large part of why I'm so enamoured of the stuff)
I've run a Grafar class 47, 57, 45, Castle, Hall, Jubilee and Dapol Voyager, Hymek and 9F with narey a problem.  I should add mind you that
I only use the larger radius points, not the #4s

The only downside is the limited track geometry and so on the new layout where I want some long uninterupted curves, I'll use peco flex, but the rest will be unitrack.

Seems awfully expensive Poliss... and while I do hate ballasting, the new layout will require quite a bit of track.. so the cost might be prohibitive!

seems to look quite nice though
