Where was Keegan's perm? Ralph Coates was going bald on top like Bobby Charlton, so he just let the sides grow long and combed it over the top.
Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Hi Pengi,

Know your a fan of that small container port just up the river from the Fawley oil refinery but who could forget ALAN BILEY. POMPEY (and Everton) legend.

Hope this works....

If not just google Alan Biley. Remember seeing him at Chelsea when for some reason we had a pink away kit. The stick he got was, well you can imagine!

OMG!   :o

Some of these are scary, not just dreadful!
That link needs a health warning!

Mind you, some of them look distinctly 80's and similar to haircuts I might have had back then...  :uneasy:

. . . not surprisingly, I don't recall many Poopey legends apart from Ron Davies, Bobby Stokes, even David Connolly . . .

Hi Pengi,

Thanks for sorting the link. Just a thick Poopey fan! :)

With regard to Ron Davies, he was Welsh so probably didn't understand the rivalry. Bobby Stokes, however, what was he thinking? He came back home in the end though. They both did. Maybe the proper sea air,
ain't as poopey as dirty rivers  :D

What about member haircuts when we were young?

I've got some photos but will have to work out how to transfer and post etc.

Thick PoMpey fan.

Cheers weave

I've got a picture of me with a mullet somewhere. Thankfully I can't find it at the moment

Hi Weave, you are definitely not thick - hyperlinks can be a pain at times
