Listening to a Mozart Piano concerto (don't recognise which one) on BBC Radio 3.

Best,
Chris.

Nah, 'twas K271, No. 9, the "Jeunehomme" (with Leif Ove Andsnes (piano/director) and the Norwegian Chamber Orchestra) - that's why I didn't recognise it. Now listening to the 3rd act of Paris Opera's Wagner's Siegfried: great stuff.

With best wishes,
Chris. :A1Tornado:

AC-DC, :music: Thunderstruck
An all time great, but one of their best intros is to Hells Bells.
I'm currently watching/listening to some long haired beat combo from T in the Park. Haven't a clue who they are ???

I think it's the red button channel. Tom Jones is on now and, blimey, you should see his backing singers

Feeling a bit wild this morning so its Uriah Heap first, Black Sabbath second and Led Zepplin after that, should put me in the mood to go out and strangle the neighbors cat when its all finished. (just kidding).

Not sure about the origins of Uriah Heep (got loads of their stuff) but weren't Sabbath and Zeppelin local to you in Brum?

EtchedPixels

Zeppelin came out of Yardbirds so are Londonish as miuch as Brum 8)

Sabbath were one of a large number of Brum bands though along with folks like Judas Priest and later on such ... wonders(?) as Napalm Death

You guys are making me want to look out some of my old LPs - Nice, Deep Purple, ELP and more. I really enjoyed the Concerto for Rock Group and Orchestra.

Best wishes,
Chris.
