I am quickly guessing some white (rabbit), white (flag) and (back to) black. Not sure about the others? Yes IIRC, Hawkwind's "Urban Guerrilla" was banned by the BBC following bombings by the IRA.

Can I add :

Using my "Red Right Hand",
"Behind  Blue Eyes" which
"Fade to Grey".

I'm glad you avoided Coldplay in your list.
Yellow is not my favourite colour (or song).
I'm sure I'll get used to cream first soon.

Moonglum

Ah yes of course Martin, (fade to) grey! Didn't know the other two, just leaves Greyhound.

Southerngooner

I'm a largely Coldplay-free zone, although I do think Clocks and Paradise are good songs. I'd forgotten about the link with the IRA bombings, although I suspect no-one went out and became a terrorist because of Hawkwind!

All right so far on the colour songs, as a clue Greyhound is actually two colours.....

How about the Stones 'Paint it black', Creedence 'Green River' and Christie 'Yellow River'

Moonglum

To celebrate Solstice being voted band of the year by Prog here is a live version of "Mount Ephraim"...

Andy Glass was also voted guitarist of the year.

Cheers,

Tim

I've got a short list of seven for me to choose from depending on what else gets played (there's 16-18 attendees normally) including Nick Cave, Jefferson Airplane, Dido, Greyhound, The Who, Visage and Amy Winehouse. Anyone want to guess which tracks they are?!

Dave

How about everything from Pink Floyd?  :D

Or maybe just PINK   :D  :D

"Red" wasn't bad. Sadly it'd be too long to play at Music group as we have a five minute limit on songs. This rules out a lot of Pink Floyd too. The group is getting very popular and we've had to extend our two hour slot to 2.5 hours to cope with numbers. A quarterly music quiz also seems popular, so a nice bit of music based stuff once a month.

Pink: from the videos I've seen of her, I wouldn't wanna cross her. She'd beat the crap out of this 72 year old! ;D
Vision over visibility. Bono, U2.

Moonglum

Oh, I didn't know that you liked Pink Floyd John @Trainfish (LOL)! Good man! Perhaps "See Emily Play" is short enough or better still "Green is the Colour"? Sorry I am stealing your (Delicate Sound of) Thunder.

I thought it was track names for colours and not the artistes, or I'd have suggested 'Shocking Blue' with 'Venus'

First a Swiftie and now a Pink standards are slipping.  Lemmy will be turning in his grave. :smiley-laughing:
