Shades of "Bladerunner"...

Cheers,

Tim
That is quite nice so I'll see if I can listen to the whole album later.

I'm sure I'll get used to cream first soon.

Nothing wrong with a nice bit of reggae.

Ii have long been a fan and particularly like Jacke Mittoo :
And whilst on the subject, one of the very finest of performances I've witnessed at Glastonbury was from the Wailers who produced an absolutely mesmerising set on the Other Stage on a beautiful Summer's afternoon.
I'm sure I'll get used to cream first soon.

I would guess that the SW album is a "not for you at all" Martin @port perran ! I am disappointed despite the good reviews.

Cheers,

Tim

You are right Tim @Moonglum .
I settled down in the train room for an hour but lasted about 25 minutes with Steven Wilson.
I quite like some of his stuff but this is disappointing to the point that I'm not sure he knows where he's going with it.
Sorry, it is a pretty big
I'm sure I'll get used to cream first soon.

Martin @port perran , here is a reminder of what Steven Wilson is capable of, from his album "The Raven That Refused to Sing" the epic "Luminol", with Nick Beggs on bass (ex Kajagoogoo!)...

The band is on fire...

Cheers,

Tim

The Prodigy - but a bit different. This track '3 Kilos' is off a Chilled Ibiza compilation and I like it a lot

A think that's a pretty good album to be fair.
I'm sure I'll get used to cream first soon.

That's not bad but for me it goes on a bit.

Maybe a bit Jethro Tull like. Did they draft Ian Anderson in to help?
I'm sure I'll get used to cream first soon.

David Gilmour - Live in Pompeii 2016 - Comfortably Numb (probably THE best guitar solo ever, I suggest)
If you watch the YouTube clip take note of the first comment...

I like Eddie Van Halen's reason for loving David Gilmore.  "David Gilmore is the benchmark of less being more. He has proved that shredding and fast playing is not the benchmark of mastery level. Gilmore never wastes a note; he builds his solos like a painter; every note, every bend, every tonal inflection has merit...David's solos paint a picture in the minds of his listeners. Something that really is a testament of his talent as a guitar player"

Very nice.
Not my favourite bit of music (I actually prefer the album version to the somewhat grandiose concert offerings) but really excellent guitar playing.

I'm sure I'll get used to cream first soon.

Deep Purple's 'Fireball - 25th Anniversary' set
Not everyone's cuppa tea (I sold all my Deep Purple vinyl yonks ago) but it's great to wheel it out now and again

I was never really sure about Deep Purple.
I'm still not.

I still like a bit of Deep Purple every now and again! I have never owned any of their albums just a few singles.
