Isn't it absolutely horrid when all the in-laws descend. Thankfully that's history for Bealman.

I used to hate it even though we could kick them out into the backyard in the Aussie summer!

Having said that, I do think early September is a bit early for humbug. Sorta like Easter eggs appearing in the supermarkets the day after Boxing Day. It happens here, I kid you not.
