As you may know, I have another thread about my daughter (Kirstie) doing this bike & hike to raise money for a cancer charity and me helping on the support team.

15 minutes ago we had a call from the wifes' (Della) dad who retired, for health reasons, to Southern Spain, he has just been diagnosed with leukaemia
